STILLey HOWard LYNda
We have been living fulltime in a motorhome since 1995 - first a 1991 31' Dolphin, and in 2001 we purchased a 2000 32' Country Coach Intrigue. Our home base is the San Francisco Bay Area where our families, including 5 grandkids, live in Half Moon Bay, Petaluma & Citrus Heights, CA.
Our interests are mostly travel-related. Howard is a sailor at heart and when we connected in 1989 Lynda was treading the uncertain real estate waters of the Half Moon Bay/Coastside area, and Howard was living on his 35' sloop and wanted to travel the world. Thus, we compromised on motorhome travel interspersed with sailing adventures. And so it has gone for all these years! We are also avid readers, hikers, and Lynda tries her hand at photography and blogging!
We have bareboat-chartered throughout the Caribbean, most recently the islands of Belize and Honduras. We joined a Cruising World Adventure, sailing in New Caledonia with a 2-week caravan trip through both north and south islands of New Zealand .
We just completed on our first "real" cruise: A Star Clipper tall sailing ship that left Barbados, transited the Panama Canal, and ended in Costa Rica, 22 days total, in November 2011.
We try not to identify with the chronological-age thing, though at times it is hard. Howard says we need to keep pushing the envelope, to extend our limits and boundaries. Indeed, we are truly blessed....
